Aubrey has been taking piano lessons since last year. Her piano teacher is a talented musician, song writer, and singer. We are blessed that we have someone so talented living right here in Galena. In the summer she goes on tour and has a cd out. You can check her talent out here http://www.karriepavishanderson.com/home/ Recently Aubrey has really taken off in her piano playing and will sit at the piano off and on throughout the day to play songs she knows and make up tunes on her own. Recently Karrie put on a musical program for the school called Riff N Hook. Two professors or talented musicians/singers are flown in the week before the show. They work with the students during the week and then put on a performance on Saturday. This year Aubrey chose to be involved in the percussion teaching. She was the only girl in her group, but had a lot of fun!

Karrie asked Aubrey to play "Jesus Loves Me" for church the Sunday before this as well as at Riff N Hook. She was pretty nervous before the show, but when she got up there she really seemed to be enjoying herself. Later that night she said that it was fun being up on stage! Maybe we have a performer on our hands! I also think it really helped that the entire crowd really cheered for her when she was done playing her song.
